Today’s Verse for Woman – Galatians 3:26-29, Thursday, April 16th, 2026
Topic of The Day: Identity
for Thursday, April 16th, 2026

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Galatians 3:26-29
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Have you ever paused to consider what it truly means to be a child of God through faith in Christ? Oh, when I reflect on this verse, I’m reminded that my identity isn’t defined by my background or gender… it’s about belonging. You see, in Christ, I am united with so many—regardless of our differences! Isn’t it freeing to think that we all wear Christ like a beautiful robe, embracing both our individuality and our unity? We’re all heirs to the promise! What does this mean for how we view ourselves and each other?
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before You today, grateful for the identity You have given me as Your child through faith in Christ Jesus. In a world where labels often define us, help me to remember that my true identity is found in You alone. Break away any chains of comparison or insecurity as I reflect on Your love, which knows no boundaries. I thank You for the truth that in Christ, I am clothed with His righteousness and accepted as a beloved heir to Your promises.
Lord, remind me that my value is not determined by the opinions of others or societal standards, but rather by my position in You. Help me to embrace my uniqueness, knowing that I am a part of a vibrant, diverse family of believers. May Your Spirit empower me to live boldly as a reflection of Your love, breaking down barriers and championing unity. Thank You for making me whole and reminding me of the inheritance I have as Your daughter. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
