As a woman, I find comfort in the words, ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’ It’s a reminder that I don’t have to carry the weight of my worries alone. I ask myself, ‘What if I approached every situation with a heart of gratitude?’ Oh, the peace it would bring. You see, gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have. Well, I invite you to join me in this practice. Let’s present our requests to God with thanksgiving, and watch as our anxiety gives way to peace…

My Prayer

Dear God, I come to you with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for the blessings in my life, for the love of family and friends, and for the strength to face each day. Help me to be mindful of the abundance of goodness that surrounds me, and to always be thankful, even in challenging times. Grant me the wisdom to see the beauty in every situation, and the courage to trust in your plan. May my heart overflow with gratitude, and may this spirit of thankfulness bring joy and peace to my soul. In moments of doubt, remind me of all the reasons I have to be thankful, and let my gratitude be a source of strength. Thank you, God, for your unending love and grace. Amen.
