Today’s Verse for Woman – Proverbs 31:30, Wednesday, January 21st, 2026
Topic of The Day: Growth
for Wednesday, January 21st, 2026

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Proverbs 31:30
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Oh, how often do I find myself caught up in the allure of charm and beauty? But this verse reminds me that these are fleeting… What truly matters is my reverence for the Lord. You see, as women, we sometimes measure our worth through external appearances, but don’t you think our inner strength and faith are what truly shine? How can I cultivate a deeper relationship with God that nurtures my spirit? Growth isn’t just about outward beauty; it’s about blossoming from within. When I fear the Lord, I am praised—not for my looks, but for my heart.
My Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, grateful for the wisdom found in Your word. As we reflect on the verse that reminds us of the transient nature of charm and beauty, we seek to cultivate a heart that fears and honors You above all else.
Lord, we pray for growth in our lives, especially for the women who strive to embody Your grace and strength. May they not be swayed by the fleeting standards of this world but instead focus on nurturing their inner selves, rooted in faith and love. Help them to grow in wisdom, kindness, and courage, shining brightly as reflections of Your glory.
Encourage them in their journey of faith, reminding them that true beauty lies in their character and devotion to You. May they be praised not for their outward appearance but for their strength of spirit and commitment to living a life that honors You.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
