Today’s Verse for Woman – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Monday, November 17th, 2025
Topic of The Day: Love
for Monday, November 17th, 2025

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Oh, dear sister, have you ever truly pondered what love asks of us? Love is patient, yes, even when we feel like giving up. It’s kind — not just to others, but to yourself too. You see, love doesn’t envy or boast; it’s humble and tender. When anger rises, can we choose to let it go, to keep no record of wrongs? Love delights in truth, it protects and trusts. So, I ask you, how might your life change if you embraced this love fully, with all its hope and perseverance? Isn’t that a love worth striving for?
My Prayer
Lord, I come before You with a heart open to learn the true meaning of love. Help me to embody the patience and kindness that love calls for, even when faced with challenges. Teach me to rid my heart of envy, pride, and boasting, and instead to honor others with humility and grace. Let my actions be selfless, not driven by selfish desires, and may I respond to frustrations without anger. Lord, help me to forgive and let go of past wrongs, not holding grudges but embracing Your truth and goodness. May my love be a reflection of Your unwavering protection, trust, hope, and perseverance. Strengthen me to love as You love — unconditionally and deeply. Guide me to be a woman who nurtures and uplifts, who finds joy in righteousness and shines Your light in every relationship. In Your name, I pray, Amen.
