As a woman, I find solace in the verse ‘For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.’ This verse reminds me that even in moments of darkness and sorrow, joy will always follow. Oh, how comforting it is to know that joy is a certainty after the night of weeping. Have you ever pondered on the nature of joy? What does it mean to you? Let’s embrace the promise of joy that awaits us each morning, a reminder of God’s enduring favor and grace.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we reflect on Your promise that joy comes in the morning, we are reminded of Your enduring favor and mercy. Just as weeping may endure for a night, we trust in Your assurance that joy will follow. We pray for the women who may be experiencing moments of sorrow, uncertainty, or hardship. May Your light shine brightly in their lives, illuminating the path to joy and peace. Grant them the strength to endure the night, knowing that Your joy awaits them in the morning. Help them to find solace in Your presence and to experience the fullness of Your love. May they be filled with hope and renewed in spirit, ready to embrace the joy that You have in store for them.
