Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Oh, sisters, have you ever felt that sense of not quite reaching your full potential? I know I have… But let’s ponder this: what if our past mistakes and failures were meant to propel us forward, not hold us back? Could it be that growth lies in letting go of what’s behind and embracing the journey ahead? As we press on towards our goals, let’s remember that the prize awaits us, beckoning us heavenward. So, dear reader, let’s stride boldly into the future, fueled by the divine calling within us.

My Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, as we reflect on the words of Paul, help us to embrace a mindset of continuous growth and transformation. Just as Paul acknowledged his journey of growth, may we too recognize that we are a work in progress, ever evolving in faith and character. Grant us the strength to let go of the past, to release all that hinders our growth, and to fix our eyes on the future you have prepared for us. May we be empowered to press on with determination and perseverance, knowing that the ultimate prize awaits us in Christ Jesus. Guide us on this journey of growth, molding us into the women you have called us to be. May our lives be a testimony to your grace and power at work within us. Amen.
