Topic of The Day: Love
for Thursday, April 17th, 2025

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Thoughts on Today’s Verse
Oh, dear woman, let me share a reflection on love… Love, the essence of patience and kindness, devoid of envy, boasting, and pride. It honors others, seeks not its own, and harbors no anger or grudges. Love shuns evil and celebrates truth. It offers protection, instills trust, ignites hope, and endures through all trials. Can we embody such boundless love in our lives? How can we cultivate a love that perseveres against all odds? Reflect on these words and let them stir the depths of your heart.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, today we come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of love. Teach us, as women, to embody the virtues of love as described in your word. May we be patient and kind, avoiding envy and pride. Help us to honor others and to seek their well-being above our own. Grant us the strength to control our anger and to forgive without keeping a record of wrongs. Guide us to always choose truth over evil and to rejoice in righteousness. May we be protectors, trusters, hopeful souls, and steadfast in our perseverance. Lord, fill us with your love so that we may reflect it to those around us. In your name, we pray. Amen.
